What a Home Assessor Does
As a Home Assessor, you’ll play a critical role in helping customers recover following property damage by:
- Conducting on-site residential property assessments
- Identifying damage and determining repair requirements
- Preparing detailed repair scopes and cost estimates
- Working closely with homeowners, trades and internal stakeholders
- Ensuring repairs meet relevant building standards and compliance requirements
- Supporting quality outcomes throughout the repair process
What We’re Looking For Essential
- Trade qualification within the building industry
- Strong residential construction experience
- Experience in assessing, estimating, site supervision or residential building repairs
- Sound knowledge of the NCC, Australian Standards and WHS requirements
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills
- Current unrestricted driver’s licence
Highly Regarded
- Home Assessing experience
- Insurance building or insurance repairs experience
- Escape of liquid claims experience
- Structural repair experience
- Experience preparing scopes of work and repair estimates
