Work that means something.

When a storm tears through someone’s home, or a burst pipe floods their kitchen, HomeRepair is who shows up. Our team helps tens of thousands of Australians get their homes back every year. Behind us is the Suncorp Group, one of Australia’s largest insurers. It’s a combination that doesn’t come along very often: a close team doing genuinely important work, with serious resources behind them. We invest in the people who make that happen — and we’re deliberate about it.

Why People Join Us

The backing of a major group, the feel of a smaller team.

HomeRepair is part of the Suncorp Group, which means the benefits of a large organisation. The day-to-day feels nothing like one. You’ll know the people you work with and the work you do will be visible.

The work has real results.

Our customers aren’t waiting on a routine service. They’ve often been through something difficult and they need their home back. The team here takes that seriously, and it shows in the culture.

We invest in people who want to grow.

We encourage internal promotion. Our people often have great opportunities to grow. Everyone gets access to our eLearning platform, with thousands of courses, plus a range of other training opportunities.

Flexible working is the norm, not a negotiation.

Hybrid arrangements, flexible hours, and a genuine approach to work-life balance. There’s also a paid wellbeing day each year and an Employee Assistance Program covering mental health, finances, legal support and more, for you and your family.

The benefits are worth reading.

Twenty weeks paid parental leave for primary carers. Insurance discounts across the Suncorp group. Salary sacrifice super. Gender Affirmation Leave. A referral bonus when someone you recommend gets the job. Quarterly recognition awards.

Why Work With Us

More than repairs.

ABOUT HOMEREPAIR
HomeRepair manages building repairs for customers of the Suncorp Group, including AAMI, APIA, GIO and Suncorp. We’ve helped tens of thousands of homeowners recover from fire, flood, storm and impact damage.

We’re a growing business. Small enough that the people here know each other, and that what you do is noticed. Big enough that we’ve got proper career pathways, a competitive benefits package, and the backing of a major financial group.

THE WORK WE DO
We’re working toward a clear vision: strengthening communities as a trusted partner in insurance repairs. That means delivering exceptional customer experiences, building a team of skilled and confident people, and developing long-term trade partnerships. Every role here contributes to that.

Customer Experience and Case Management — This is the core of what we do. Our customer teams guide homeowners through their entire repair journey, from the moment a claim is lodged to the day they move back in. It’s demanding work that asks a lot of you. It’s also some of the most rewarding work you’ll find in an office environment.

On the Road — Most of our Assessors come from a trades or building background. They know what a good repair looks like — and what a bad one is hiding. In this role, that knowledge becomes something more. You’re often the first person from HomeRepair that a homeowner meets, usually at a moment when they’re stressed and their home is in a state. The technical side is important. So is the human side.

Corporate and Support — Finance, HR, Risk & Compliance, Procurement & Supply Chain. The work that keeps everything running and makes growth possible. In a team our size, you’ll have real visibility across the business and genuine input into how things are done.

Technology and Digital — We’re investing in the platforms and systems that make HomeRepair better for customers and tradespeople alike. If you want to build things that solve real problems for real people, there’s good work to do here.
